Hand Crafted

Our highly skilled craftspeople are incredibly proud of the products that are all hand crafted at our factory in Long Eaton.

As well as skilled craftspeople in upholstery, cutting and sewing we have careers in planning, quality and logistics. 

We look for people who can work to the highest standards whether that is precision sewing or the ability to pattern match complex designs.

Design and Development

Our whole business is built on innovative designs and ideas. The design and development teams are responsible for developing and updating designs that keep Duresta at the forefront of interior style.

We look for people who are innovative and creative as well as having a commercial awareness. You will have a flair for fabric selection, keeping up-to-date with latest design trends and market requirements.

Commercial

Like all companies, we require the essential administrative and support functions to build our business and manage it efficiently.

There are a variety of careers on offer across Finance, Sales, Customer Support and Purchasing.

We look for people who are team players, good communicators, have strong IT skills and can work to the highest quality standards.

Graduates

Apprentices

Our apprenticeship programmes are for people who will be able to make the most of the hands-on training that we offer.

This can be in upholstery, sewing, customer service or administration.

Becoming an apprentice means you will be starting a long and rewarding career. As such we look for people with a passion for learning and the determination to succeed.

“My apprenticeship in Business and Administration has given me a qualification that I can take anywhere, a hands on approach to learning and real work experience. I have had a fantastic opportunity to learn the upholstery trade from highly skilled craftspeople that have worked in the business for many years.
