On March 7th 2017 we journeyed to New York to celebrate the launch of Duresta for Matthew Williamson in the iconic ABC Carpet & Home, Broadway.
The launch suite perfectly encapsulated Matthews aesthetic, using a rainbow palette and accessories to intrigue the eye. “Whenever I land in New York I make a beeline for ABC. It’s one of my favourite stores and is generally an inspiring place to be.” – Matthew Williamson
The Duresta for Matthew Williamson signature upholstery range was revealed to guests on the fifth floor and beyond, embellished with Matthews eclectic selection of occasional pieces – the most wonderful way to showcase this kaleidoscopic collection.
Traditional lounge furniture covered in electric blue butterfly wings, fuchsia florals and pinwheel prints brightened up the space at ABC Carpet & Home, arranged next to pink tray tables with whimsical flamingo legs and turquoise console tables with peacock feet.
Guests, including Sienna Miller, Lauryn Hill and Matthew’s friends from New York came together to celebrate our fabulous fashion-led furniture collaboration, over cocktails, canapes and music from DJ Vikas Sapra.
