Collections National Trust
We are extremely proud of our long-standing relationship of over 25 years with the National Trust, which allows our design teams to study, reproduce and be inspired by unique pieces of furniture held in the National Trust collections.
The spirit of the English country house runs through the very heart and soul of the Trafalgar. The Duresta Trafalgar is inspired by sofas found at Trust properties, such as Knole in Kent. It’s characterised by a deep seat and high back, with hinged high arms that can drop down to form a day bed – like the one Lord Nelson used on HMS Victory during the Battle of Trafalgar.
The Belton chair is a classic favourite from our National Trust collection and would complement a traditional or modern interior. Inspired by the classic country Belton House, this furniture piece oozes charm, with sumptuous deep buttoning to the back and arms. As were the gardens and parkland of Belton House, the Belton chair was designed to impress.
The Lanhydrock is the very meaning of English Classic style. This delightful accent chair is both comfortable and stylish and features deep buttoning to the back cushion. This chair is inspired by the magnificent Victorian country house – Lanhydrock.
Every purchase from this collection helps the National Trust conserve special places for ever, for everyone.
